Westmoreland State Park Visitor's Center

At Westmoreland State Park’s Visitor Center a meadow garden replaces the lawn at the entrance to this Gold Level LEED Certified building.
Visitors pass through a garden that is constantly changing throughout the seasons and alive with the movement of birds, butterflies, and swaying grasses and flowers.

Busch Gardens Wildlife Habitat Garden

A National Wildlife Federation Certified Wildlife Habitat Garden was created at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, VA with a grant from the National Wildlife Federation.
Traditional plantings were replaced with native, wildlife friendly plants, water features, and nesting spaces to create a model habitat garden and quiet retreat for Busch Gardens visitors.

NASA Langley Research Center Employee Cafeteria

The NASA Langley Research Center Employee Cafeteria butterfly garden and plantings of native shrubs and vines helped soften
and bring life into an outdoor eating area. We even planted native blueberries under the Hackberry trees - free dessert!
